       Under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS), Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, in para 7.12 of MGNREGS Annual Master Circular 2021-22, It has been directed to constitute a State Quality Monitoring Cell of 10-15 retired Executive Engineers to monitor and evaluate 10% of the works executed under MGNREGS. These projects will be of Rs. 5 lac and above for each works and Rs. 10 lac and above of masonry/pucca works. The empanelled retired engineers will undertake field visits for at least 10 days in a month on works executed in different parts of the state. The Online applications are invited from interested and suitable Executive Engineer (Civil) and senior rank officers, who have retired from PWD, Irrigation, Rural Engineering Department, Military Engineering Services or any other Government establishments. The maximum age of applicant on date of advertisement should not be more than 62 years. The last date to receive application is

2. Details of Honorarium:
  1. Rs 3500/- per actual working day with additional DA of Rs.500/-.
  2. In case of non availability of circuit house/rest house, maximum lodging charges of Rs. 2000/-.
  3. Travelling allowances as per AC 3 tier/ Volvo charges/ Charges by road milage.
  4. Typing, photocopy and binding charges of Rs. 500/- per report.
3. Brief Description of duties:
  1. Inspection and quality control of works under Mahatma Gandhi NREGA Scheme.
  2. Preparation of model estimates for different assets as per local needs/specifications using latest technology.
4. Period of Contract- 3 years, but if the performance is not found satisfactory, Commissioner Rural Development, UP can terminate the contract before this period.
